hair, Rayvyn's hair is very noticeable and part of what makes her such a memorable face. It is white in color, often seeming more grayish. She has put black into the tips of her bangs but they have faded and look a dark grey, almost blue. Her hair is very thick and has a lot of volume to it, often not cooperating with how Rayvyn wants it. It is layered with the longest sections falling to her waist and the shortest (bangs aside) falling rather short. The shorter ones are closer to the back of her head and angle so that they get longer the closer they get to her face. Her bangs are just as thick as the rest of her hair and are often falling in her face. She parts her hair on the left, so her bangs curl over her forehead with the angled cut starting just above her brow and ending just past her chin. There is a section on the left side that falls to her shoulders. Her hair is naturally wavy but she straightens it along with spiking the back of it. Pink, red and blue streaks are common.
eyes, Her eyes are round and wide, filled with innocence and intense color. Unlike the stereotypical albino Rayvyn's eyes are more orange than red. They can look redder in dimmer light and very yellow in the sun. Her eyes hold a lot of emotion and make it hard for Rayvyn to hide what she is feeling. Her lashes give her a more innocent look; long and thick strands that curl out drastically. They are often painted in a fair bit of make up.
built, Rayvyn's build is very small and slight. She is skinny, perhaps too skinny, without much shape. She looks very frail and breakable and doesn't have much of a build. Rayvyn's shoulders are very slender and her chest is small. She is only a B Cup but she doesn't seem to mind that. Her waist is small and her hips just the same with an hour glass figure in the making. Proportionately Rayvyn's legs are shorter, making her only 5'5". She weighs ninety pounds soaking wet...If she's lucky. Rayvyn, like any albino, has a very pale and pasty complexion. She burns very easily and never tans. Her skin has more yellow undertones and her cheeks have a very pale blush to them. Rayvyn’s wrists are home to a few scars that look like they’ve been done within the past year or two.
height, 5’5”
weight, 84 pounds
fashion sense, Rayvyn has a very odd sense of fashion. She uses bright colors and odd mismatching to make up for the lack of color her body holds. She wears a lot of dresses that flow out around the body under the bust. This is to hide how thin she is. They vary in color and pattern but are usually bright. Brightly colored leggings matched with a different colored pair of knee high socks are common as well. Leg warmers and ballet flats or Converse are her preferred footwear as well. Rayvn has a lot of accessories as well. Bracelets are a must, covering scars on her wrists, and are bright in colors. Bright necklaces or scarves are common too, as are head bands. If Rayvyn isn’t wearing a dress it’s a tee shirt and a brightly colored tutu styled skirt.

overall personality, Rayvyn has had very few friends outside of her siblings and has barely even had full conversations with people. She finds socializing very hard to do and usually just avoids it. But since coming to Ridgewood she has improved and is able to speak a full sentence to a stranger. She just doesn’t know how to talk to people. Years of being teased and bullied has taken away her want for social contact but now that she has started fresh she is finding that avoiding human contact is impossible. That and Rayvyn doesn’t like feeling lonely. When faced with conversation she often blurts out the first thing that comes to mind.
Rayvyn can’t stand being on the spot. She isn’t used to be the center of attention and when that happens she panics. She doesn’t know what to do and freezes up, often fainting out of fear. She doesn’t do well with public speaking at all which proves to be difficult when it comes to some school projects. Stress isn’t something Rayvyn does well either. She doesn’t handle stressful or mildly chaotic situations well at all and would rather leave them to someone else.
Rayvyn hates almost everything about herself. She doesn’t like being albino, she hates wearing glasses and she highly dislikes her body. She is very self conscious and worries a lot about how people see her. She doesn’t want to seem ugly and wants to be seen as pretty. She figures that if others see her as pretty she must be so she tries to look nice while staying in her preferred style. She is very self conscious of the scars on her wrist though and often wears bracelets to hide them. Rayvyn is one of those people who need praise and compliments.
Rayvyn has spent most of her life buried in books. She has a clever mind that grasps complicated concepts very easily. She has a good memory and can remember almost anything she has read. Rayvyn is a visual learner who needs to be able to see or read what she is learning. This makes it easy to learn in school since it’s the most common teaching style. Her knowledge is vast and she can tell you anything about anything. She would never say she knows everything she just knows a lot. Rayvyn is one of those people who are full of useless facts.
When Rayvyn does find a friend she holds onto them with dear life. She is someone you can trust with your life, especially with secrets. She will listen to your deepest secrets and will rarely change her opinion of you because of them. She finds it easy to make unbiased pieces of advice for her friends. She is a nice friend to have if you can stand her timid and self conscious nature.HISTORY,

overall history, Analese Topa was born in a very poor area of Poland to a mother with five other children. Her father had died of a brain tumor and she, being the oldest child, was left to work with her mother. At eighteen she moved to Michigan and became a legal American citizen. Her mother and siblings, three bothers and two sisters, stayed in Poland for two years before Analese had enough money to fly them over. They all spread out but Elaine stayed with her daughter. It was during those two years of working when Analese met Darius Valentine.
They were both working at a rather large cafe and often had the same shifts. They got along nicely, quickly becoming work friends. It was a few months before Darius asked Analese on a date and after that seeing them together became more and more frequent. The more Analese spent time with Darius the more "American" she seemed to be. Her accent started to assimilate and her English improved. She taught him a few Polish sayings but she was more interested in becoming American-like than he was at being Polish.
When Elaine finally came to America she was a bit disappointed that her daughter was losing her Polish accent. She was, however, happy about Analese finding such a nice man. Darius and Analese moved into a small apartment together though they struggled for money. After another two years, with Analese being twenty two, they finally got the money to move to a small town in Oregon called Nehalem.
It wasn’t long after moving there when Darius and Analese started to get a little better off with their money. They bought an old and run down house and fixed it up and even got to keep the animals of the lady who used to live there. She had a lot of horses and some fields for growing crops. They opened up a stable and guest house after a year and a half.
When Analese was Twenty five her first child was born. A boy they named Chaze. He was a happy and cheery baby who was popular among the small town folk. In such a tiny city everyone knew everyone so the birth of their first child was exciting. A month after Chaze’s birth they had a small and casual wedding. Analese wore a sun dress and Darius was in his usual pair of jeans and a dress shirt. It was more like a birthday party styled event than a wedding. It was nice and quant and they enjoyed it.
Three years later baby Rayvyn was born. Her pale skin, white hair and orange eyes were not what these happy parents were expecting. Their daughter’s “condition” was of no importance to them though. They were happy to have a healthy baby girl despite her differences.
Even as a toddler it was plain to see that Rayvyn was a bit odd. Her looks weren’t the only thing that set her apart from the other children. She was quiet, barely ever crying, and only ever spoke when someone spoke to her. And when she did speak it scarcely had anything to do with what was said to her. She would spend hours simply staring at something, like an appliance, then attempt to take it apart. She usually failed at this and would set it aside for her parents to find and fix.
She learned to read early on and caught on to it very quickly. After learning letters and sounds she spent a lot of time reading on out loud to herself or to her brother. She was very close to Chaze but barely talked to him or even her parents. The most anyone ever heard her say was when she was reading out loud. At the age of four Ryvyn got her first pair of glasses. She hated them and would always lose them on purpose or “accidentally” break them. Eventually her parents worked up the money to buy her the bendable ones that were harder to break.
By the time she entered grade one Rayvyn had a little sister she wasn’t nearly as close with, Lilie. She remained by her brother, following him around silently. She would simply watch him and his friends, which creeped them out, and kept to herself. She didn’t have a single friend and this worried a lot of the towns’ people. In a place where everyone knew everyone and everyone knew your secrets it wasn’t something they were used to.
From day one of school Rayvyn was teased and bullied from her classmates, particularly a group of five boys a year above her. She was beaten up often, only to have Chaze intervene. Rayvyn never seemed to mind being picked on though it did a lot more mentally than it did physically. By this point the Valentines had another child, a boy named Sylent though he was anything but. Sylent and Lilie were as close as Chaze and Rayvyn were.
As the years droned on Rayvyn buried herself in playing the saxophone, reading and painting. Her eyes gradually grew worse and her glasses grew thicker. She came to loathe the things and stopped wearing them al together. Her parents finally got her contacts now that they had more money to spend on their children. They grew crops and sold them to neighboring towns and rented out their stables as well as giving riding lessons. It left them with enough to pass them by though they were still considered poor. Rayvyn’s saxophone was a used one and was slightly out of tune.
As school went on the teasing and bullying graduated to just those five boys one grade above her. They had some street intellect now and had learned how to do it so no one would find out. And since Rayvyn was practically a mute in school who would veer find out? They started sexually assaulting her, which drove her unspoken depression further and further. She started worrying about how she looked at the age of eight and was hospitalized for anorexia at age nine. And in this small town that was talked about for a long time. Buy Rayvyn never spoke of why she was anorexic.
When she was thirteen she tried to commit suicide, the sexual assault from the five boys having gotten that bad. She attempted to overdose on her father’s sleeping pills. She failed and was hospitalized once again. During her stay they had to monitor her eating habits closely and were forcing her to eat. It was then when her family decided that this town wasn’t for their daughter. “Being talked about all the time was what was causing her depression” was what the therapist had said. So the small town family moved to Los Angeles, California.
They had been a bit worried about the move at first but Rayvyn immediately started to change. She seemed happier and started creating her own style. But this was all for show, she hated LA. Two weeks after moving she tried to kill herself again by cutting her wrists but it seemed she just didn’t cut deep enough. Her parents just couldn’t understand why she was like this and neither could her siblings. They tried to help her but she didn’t seem to want it.
She did get a little better though, finding all the people and social activist LA had to offer. She has lightened up a bit and tries to make friends instead of running away though she is still very shy. She hasn’t tried to kill herself since but she has thought of it a few times. Rayvyn is getting better and her family is happy. Rayvyn is now trying to make it as a writer and a photographer and is attending university.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
