APPEREANCE,

hair,

leila has chocolate colored hair which often falls at loose curls down to the upper-middle of her back. she usually wears her hair down, sometimes only pinned back with a headband or bobby pins. she used to be blonde, but had to dye it for an acting role at age thirteen. ever since then, she prefers her brunette locks to her old blond. even when she has to dye her hair a different color for various roles, leila will always dye it back to it's "normal" brunette color. occasionally, for a little umph, leila will add in some red or caramel-colored highlights.

eyes,

leila has hazel eyes. the pupil is outline with an aqua blue, and filled in with a medium brown color. the outer brim if her eyes is a green color.

built,

leila is a very petite girl, but if she doesn't diet, she turns into a heifer - in her opinion. leila is always up and down in weight. and though she is not anorexic, nor does she have any other eating disorder, leila must seriously diet to keep her weight around 115-120. otherwise, she will shoot up to 125-130, which is just unacceptable for leila. however, she loves food. which means she loves any acting role that she has to get a little hefty for, even if she dislikes looking in the mirror when she does.

she loves to wear bright clothes and to stand out. she has a closet full of this type of clothing. leila loves her bright, floral-printed dresses the best, usually paired with a cardigan or jacket if the weather is chilly, and always with a pair of heels. but she equally loves her skinny jeans, flats and a flowy shirt. leila loves and adores dressing in girly clothes. you probably will not see her dress down unless she is about to go to bed or if she's had a long day of work.

PERSONALITY,

you could say leila adrianna elliot has a tough exterior. she always has her walls up until she really, really feels she can trust you. so far, that has happened for no one. she has never really had a best best friend or a really serious boyfriend. her emotions on the outside may also be portrayed as and cold. if leila is not a big fan of you, you will certainly know it because she will tell it straight to your face. even though she can definitely be kind of cold, leila can also be quite the sweet heart. on the inside, leila is kind. or, when she wants to be. sometimes she hates her blunt ways, but her stubbornness keeps her back from apologizing for her harsh words or hurting someone's feelings. to be completely honest, her cold exterior is often only around tabloids and other rude people in the acting industry.

if any was going to call leila anything, it would be independent. although she enjoys going out and dating, its just for fun. leila does not need a man to be complete and really frowns upon those girls that feel they do. she makes her own money, lives in her own place, and everything she has was bought with her own money that she achieved by hard work. she loves being independent. but sometimes it gets lonely. even if she seems proud to stay home and watch a movie by herself, she really wishes she could have someone to cuddle with at the same time.

leila is actually quite the hopeless romantic girly love type. she always dreams of her fairy tale, white horse, prince charming. and when she thinks she has found him, leila becomes entranced and smitten. no, not in a stalker way. but underneath her "independent woman" image, leila just really wants to find someone who cares about her. she is all about making relationships work and last - unless the other person does not want it to. her dream is to marry (without divorcing) to one person and last forever. this may come out as her being picky with guys, but she just wants to be comfortable with a guy to call her own.

overall history,
from age two to age five, leila lived in paris, france with her parents and her sister who is four years older than she. when leila was six, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. the cancer began to spread extremely rapidly and thus a top notch doctor in los angeles, california was recommended to the family. after only a few days of thinking, the family began to pack up for their new move. six days later, they were on a plane to los angeles.

madeline was pissed at her mother and father for pulling her away from her friends. the ten year old didn't realize how serious her mother's condition was. madeline was acting very selfish and inconsiderate even though she knew that her mother was sick. she thought that she would live, for cecily had always been the strongest woman the two girls new. leila, however, did in fact realize that her mother had a good chance of dying. even at the age of six, leila was very bright and understanding.

the little six year old was always trying to tell her twin sister that their mommy could die, so don't be mad at her. but madeline never listened because leila was just a "the stupid kid with no brain." little did madeline know, leila was dead right. when leila was eight, just three years after they moved to LA, cecily died of heart failure as the cancer spread to half of the organs in her gaunt body. it was only then then madeline cracked. the girl grew depressed for a while. when madeline was fifteen, she committed suicide.

leila seemed to be the strongest link that is holding up her family. while the girl cries frequently, she has no regrets in the time before her mother passed away. unlike her father who pursued drinking every night for last few months of his wive's life, or unlike madeline who repeatedly told her mother she hated her. leila, however, sat at her mother's bedside every night. their chauffeur, of course, had to drive her back and forth to the hospital every morning and to school. since her father was always wasted and her sister was rarely around.

the years after her mother died, leila was beginning to have a life. she would hang out with her friends and have dates with boys. this was also the era when she became promiscuous and a partier. but what she really grew to have a passion about was acting. her interest in acting started when she was little since her mother was a actress. at first, every one thought her passion was just a phase. that she was only trying to pursue it so she would still be holding onto her mother by a thread. however, leila showed everybody that talent she had and they eventually shut their mouths.

her acting career really began when she was thirteen. sure, she acted in plays and such in school. but then she got a small part in a movie playing the leading man's daughter. but the witty little girl's role turned heads - leila was discovered. since then, she has had other small roles, but never the leading. until a year ago, when she auditioned for a television show. she was not sure she'd make it, since she had never acted in T.V. she auditioned for a minor character, but they thought her suitable for the main role.
