`welcome to the s u b u r b s *
if you're reading this, it most likely means that you have some interest in my home town. i'm not sure why anyone on earth would be interested in this place, especially a nice person like you. but you're reading it, so here we go...
suburbia is located just outside of los angeles, california. hop in the car and head down the highway for a few minutes and you're in hollywood. but people here rarely venture into the big city. we've got what we need in suburbia. besides, los angeles doesn't want a bunch of throw backs like us. you see, it's common knowledge in this town that we're the people who hollywood didn't want. either that, or we're the people who just don't want hollywood.
but that's not to say that living in suburbia is a quiet existence, no way. we have our fair share of excitement. there's rivalries between different sides of town. there's gangs, rape, crime, drugs, alcohol. but there's also mansions, elementary school, and fancy cars. then there's everything in between. from the slums to the gated communities.
if you're thinking about moving here, i'd advise you not to. this town sucks you in mercilessly and holds on tight.
